The standard base unit accepts separate TX & RX antennas, however single antenna operation may be achieved by specifying the optional internal diplexer. Variable RF power level also ensures compliance with local licensing recommendations and optimisation for the desired area of coverage.

Audax provides compatible interworking with virtually all standard UHF transceivers. However, enhanced audio performance is achieved when used in conjunction with the Kenwood TK3160 transceiver. This compact, lightweight portable boasts advanced speech processing with tailored response characteristics ensuring optimum intelligibility even in noisy environments. Built to withstand rough treatment, this portable meets the advanced IP54/55 and MIL-STD 810 “blowing rain” waterproof tests and meet/exceed eleven other stringent MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F environmental standards. Extended battery life and a wide range of accessories including headsets with in-line push-to-talk switch and PC programming software, make this the preferred choice for the professional user.

All Trilogy radio systems are supplied pre-programmed with user specified frequencies and ready for deployment. Seamless integration with Trilogy Intercom equipment is simply effected via line level audio connection.
