Trilogy Commander Talkback Systems for ART

Trilogy has recently supplied Commander talkback systems to well-known systems integrator Television Systems Ltd. for two major new HD broadcast vehicles being built for ART, based in Amman, Jordan. The vehicles are being designed and built by TSL in Maidenhead and will be 13.5m long with expanding sides and high-spec technical fit. ART is the premier Middle East sports broadcaster and the vehicles will be used to provide HD coverage of the 2007/8 Saudi football league.

Each Commander system has a matrix equipped for 78 ports and more than 16 panels that will be distributed throughout each vehicle's technical areas. Full resilience is provided by provision of redundant power supplies and dual processors. Connections to cameras and other external circuits are provided via a mix of four-wire lines and dial-up telephone circuits. Two UHF radio systems with base stations and six beltpacks are also included for each vehicle as well as separate in-ear presenter radio talkback facilities - all supplied by Trilogy.

ART has specified Trilogy Commander talkback for many of its installations with systems being previously supplied for Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
